VADUZZO IDEA & HISTORY

VADUZZO was born from a simple idea:

To create exceptional cappuccino moments in the great outdoors.

We, the founders of VADUZZO, are two friends who grew up in the Allgaeu Alps and have always embraced life in nature and the freedom of vanlife with our families. We are also trained mechanical engineers and engineers by profession.

And so we set out to challenge the established standard of non-electric coffee makers and moka pots.

Good coffee was never the problem. But real cappuccino? In the mountains, by remote lakes, far from any power source?

Our first stainless steel cappuccino maker prototype was built in our workshop at home – and the idea became reality.

The VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker can be heated on any gas stove, most induction hobs or conventional electric stoves. Filter coffee, French press and everything in between quickly disappeared from our vans. Before long, we were only using the VADUZZO at home as well.

The idea of bringing exceptional cappuccino to other vanlifers, campers, hikers and anyone who simply loves great cappuccino led us to establish BERGFABRIK GmbH in Liechtenstein in November 2025.

With our headquarters in Schaanwald and production and final assembly in Ruggell, we combine engineering expertise with local craftsmanship. VADUZZO® is a genuine Made in Liechtenstein stainless steel product, combining local craftsmanship with our own patent-pending technology.

VADUZZO combines timeless industrial design with high-quality materials, including brushed stainless steel and food-grade plastic components, reflecting our commitment to quality, precision and a more conscious way of living.

After an intensive journey of development involving extensive material testing, pressure tests, design refinements and continuous improvements to ease of use – along with a workshop full of prototypes – the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker we know today finally took shape.

VADUZZO became our companion and an integral part of our daily cappuccino ritual, wherever we are: from quiet mornings at home to relaxed moments at the beach or out in nature with friends and family.

Pre-orders for the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker open in summer 2026.

VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker
Trade Mark. Style.
Technology.

VADUZZO® is a registered trade mark based in Schaanwald, Liechtenstein.

Every VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker is based on our own proprietary design and patent-pending technology. It combines timeless industrial design with precision engineering.

The coffee is prepared using the proven principle of a traditional moka pot, producing rich, aromatic coffee.

THE INNOVATION: In the second step, VADUZZO® uses its integrated steam nozzle to create exceptionally fine, barista-quality milk foam.

VADUZZO® transforms your favorite place into your personal Cappuccino Moment.

VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker
How It Works.

SAFETY FIRST

The VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker is heated like a traditional moka pot on gas, induction or electric stoves. During operation, the stainless steel components and the escaping liquid and steam become extremely hot. There is a risk of burns!

During and immediately after use, touch the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker only by the black plastic components. Keep the appliance out of reach of children during use and while cooling down, and never leave it unattended on the heat source.

1. Fill and Brew

Fill the lower chamber with water up to the level of the safety valve, and fill the filter basket with ground coffee.

IMPORTANT:

Put the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker into its starting position: Open the upper lid in the direction of the arrow marked “Open” and close the steam valve in the direction of the arrow marked “Close”. Then place the VADUZZO® on the heat source and brew the coffee.

When the brewing process is complete, steam will escape from the top of the maker. Now close the upper lid in the direction of the arrow marked “Close”. This seals the upper chamber.

Pour the freshly brewed coffee into two cups.

2. Create Milk Foam

Place the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker back on the hot heat source. Once the required steam pressure has been reached, open the steam nozzle in the direction of the arrow marked “Open” for 1–2 seconds, pointing it in a safe direction, to purge and sanitize the steam system.

Then place the milk pitcher, already filled with milk, next to the VADUZZO®. Submerge the steam nozzle in the milk and open the steam valve in the direction of the arrow marked “Open”.

This is where the innovation comes in:

The integrated steam system creates finely textured, barista-quality milk foam.

3. Enjoy Your Cappuccino and Clean the Maker

After frothing, close the steam nozzle in the direction of the arrow marked “Close” and pour the milk foam over the coffee – done.

After frothing, briefly open the steam nozzle again in the direction of the arrow marked “Open” to release any remaining steam and clean the nozzle. Then close it again in the direction of the arrow marked “Close” and wipe it with a damp cloth.

Allow the VADUZZO® Cappuccino Maker to cool completely before opening or disassembling it. Clean the maker with water, just like a traditional moka pot.
